Ability to edit Idea Portal comments in a portal
Idea portal comments cannot be edited by their author. This functionality would be useful to prevent having to add an additional comment to make corrections/amendments.

Let people edit their comments in the ideas portal
I'm moving into Aha! and note that you can't edit or delete a comment in the ideas portal. This is a little annoying because information may change and mistakes are occasionally made. Without editing rights there is room for ambiguity.

Currently Ideas creators can go and edit their initial idea, but they can't edit any comments they've left. Any Aha! user with Owner permissions on the portal can edit a requestors comments. Allowing users to edit or remove their comments will be ...

Add feature to be able to edit comments
Upon commenting and answering a customer's problem (a public one), I was unable to go back and edit it. I think it would be useful if one could edit their comments because, for instance, one might want to include more detail or add important links...

Our portal users have requested this. They don't understand why they can edit the idea name but not the comments.

We received a comment from a customer that this is a data breach violation to not allow customers to edit their comments. Can you please implement this functionality?
I would love for "edit comment" to include the ability to switch a comment to private... I filed this separately, as they don't have to be paired, but seem very related: https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-16198
We need this ability! it is very annoying to have to add a sub comment for any edits you need to make. Please allow the creator of the comment to have edit and delete rights on their own comment - seems simple!
It's truly quite annoying having to contact the PM / Admin to fix a typo.
I don't need to fix typos of others, but my own? There should be a permission allowing at least internal users (those with backend access), but maybe also external contributors (customers) to edit their own portal comments:
either in the Aha backend or
directly in the portal
...or both.
Editing of comments by author should be allowed. Users are more inclined to add comments that they can clean up if they make a mistake or wish to wordsmith later.
Comments should always be editable by their authors. To make sure that the integrity stays the same, a change log can be displayed in a different tab. therefore statements that have been changed are still readible by others.
