We find our customers sometimes add screenshots into their comments which contain data which we believe shouldn't be public. For example this could be a screenshot taken from another application or from our application containing the customer's data.
You cannot currently remove an image individually from a comment in the same way you can from an idea. The only current solution is to copy/paste the content of the comment into a new comment and delete the original.
The status of this idea was out of date. It is now possible for users in Aha! to delete images from comments made by ideas portal users.
This would also allow us to get rid of all of the images that get added from email signatures when users comment via email. 60% of the items on the Files page for my product are company logos, headshots, and social media icons. This is for an internal product with under 20 idea portal users. I can only imagine what this will be like when we roll out the portal for a consumer-facing product.
