Disable public comments to ideas from within the Aha! application
We use ideas for in-house request management, i.e. there are no external stakeholders who see ideas or add comments. When commenting on ideas we often @ mention users so we use the private comments. In order to enforce that users don't accidentally add public comments we'd like to disable the public comments section. Would be great to see a setting to turn it off.

Same here. Legal team concerned with public comments going outside the org.
Our legal team will not let us use the portal due to concerns that one customers comments could be seen by another. To use the portal, we would need the ability to disable or make them private as already suggested.
Another idea is to make the private comments default when you access an idea through the Aha! application.
