Remove clutter from portfolio screen for the product hierarchy

When viewing a high point in a complex product line hierarchy there is a lot of repetitive information. e.g. every release is replicated at each point in the product hierarchy. This could be simplified by only displaying releases at the next highest point in the hierarchy from the product they are created in OR the point at which they have rolled up to an initiative or release. Also if you were allowed to deselect a lower point in the hierarchy the releases could then roll up to the highest point. There is currently just too much repetition for this to be a useful screen at the moment.

Thank you for the request. As you know, this page can be filtered to show/hide specific products from the view. The purpose was to provide the detailed need whether looking at a product line or product level -- but still allow users to get the information they need if they were to focus on a single area.

We would suggest leveraging the Report Timeline page to customize the views that you are hoping to create. At this time, we are not likely to make updates in this area based on current priorities and updates but we hope you can leverage the custom Timeline page.

    Thanks for the response.

I understand that I can use this to drill down, however when you chose a high point in a product line hierarchy the screen is almost useless.
