Allow Products with different Parents to appear in the same Hierarchy Report and bind by release
When showing Top level (company level) strategic initiatives that span across products I need the ability to show how those company level initiatives are being addressed across all relevant products. In a product hierarchy some product will exist in different product lines or stand alone not in product line below the company level. Key stakeholders just want to see what product level initiatives exist to support the higher level strategy and what features in which releases are relevant to those specific initiatives at the product level.
We have the same challenge. No large organisation has a straight line hierarchy so the potential value of the hierarchy report is severely undermined by this issue.
The use-case described by Matt is identical to mine. Would be a very impactful view for Sr mgmt. if it worked.
To the aha team - When is this being made available?
We have a product hierarchy with a nested structure of product lines - rendering the hierarchy report in the current state utterly useless as it doesn't capture data outside of the specific swim lane.
