What is the challenge? |
If I use a pre-defined tag list to encode information such as a stakeholder team, I have to select all of the teams above that one in the hierarchy manually to be able to report at various levels. |
What is the impact? |
If I mark a stakeholder team, I must also manually select the department, organization, and business unit to allow reports to be pulled at those levels. This makes more work for me to be able to report to multiple levels of stakeholders. |
Describe your idea |
I'd like to be able to build hierarchies into my tags so that if I selected a team, it would automatically also add the corresponding department, organization, and business unit. I could do this manually with Automations, but that would not be a sustainable approach for the scale of a large company. |
Thanks for sharing this idea.
You mentioned that configuring this in automations is an option but that it's not scalable. Can you please share more about why that is the case?
Is the concern that a stakeholder team's department, organization, and business unit will change from time-to-time and you will have to update many automations?
