This is useful to provide a clear report, without every tag associated to a feature being displayed (can be upwards of 10 tags). Several tags are filtered for the selection criteria for the report creation. eg lifecycle phase
We want to select which tags to 'see', associated to each epic. Otherwise, OMs need to append the related feature description with the lifecycle name, creating redundancy. Additionally, management of features is easier/more accurate, if using only tag management, rather than including maintenance of feature descriptions as well.
Thanks for submitting this idea.
Currently, it is possible to filter report results without displaying the field itself - a feature list can be filtered by its tags without displaying the tags field.
When it is desirable to present the field, a custom field is recommended. Custom fields are filterable and sortable and can be a more succinct way of presenting feature attributes.
At this time, given the options mentioned above and current priorities, we do not have plans to address the specific area noted. We hope you can understand.
Agree this is a much needed capability for managing complex projects, and various stakeholders. Please reconsider implementation
Unfortunately, this response does not address the use case. We do filter record selection by contents of the tag field, without displaying the field contents.
The use case that is missing, is to be able to display predefined, SELECTED tags from the tags field - not all contents of the tags field in a pivot report.
