What is the challenge? |
We now have dozens if not hundreds of colleagues across the business using Aha! who have been creating and using tags. Because tags are universally accessible by all organisational users of Aha!, this now makes it impossible to use tags effectively because there are hundreds if not thousands of them. |
What is the impact? |
Having too many tags available to all Aha! users within the business makes everyone lose track of the meaning of the tag and which products they were initially assigned to. For example, if one searches by tags initially intended for specific product or sets of products, one will retrieve records from all across the business most of which are irrelevant to individual workspaces. |
Describe your idea |
Enable to segment the creation of and access to tags per individual workspace or sets of workspaces with a shared hierarchy of workspace folders. This will make it easier to create, find and use tags that are contextually relevant without impacting or retrieving records from other parts of the business. Additionally, the Aha! Knowledge Base could provide more examples and use-cases for tags and categories, to better understand the value of each for the Ideas Portals, epics, features, etc. Tags and categories could become more powerful tools for research to investigate product value and opportunities to support evidence-based product management and decisions. |
