It seems odd to have all tags in one big bag. Too many are not relevant when used in a particular case.
I have tags that are both cross-cutting and that are somewhat specific.
Where I want to use both on the same artefact, I would rather be able to have separated customer fields as an alternative. The selection is clean, and the layout of Cards can be a lot more effective.
I could see also that having the ability then to select groups of tags to use in a custom field would keep everyone happy. Maybe.
Couldn't see a good category for these valuable gap-filling tools.
Thank you for your idea. It is currently possible to create custom tags fields. This could be a good alternative for the use case where you would like to create more organization. This article explains in more detail.
Given the option mentioned above, and other priorities, we are unlikely to implement this idea at this time. We hope you can understand.
