We'd like to be able to create automations such as the following which is currently not possible: When an activity is created or updated and the related workspace changes (EG - the activity is moved from one workspace to another by a user) then perform these actions: Update [Custom field on Activity] from related record field [Custom field on workspace] |
How should it work? |
Allow you to search related record fields (Standard AND custom fields) and use them in automations to monitor for field changes on related records, conditions, field matching, To-do/Approval Assignee and actions. We have a related use case, when a feature reaches a certain status and is set to certain level/tier then assign the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) user field on the feature to the PMM user field for that Workspace. This allows us to only assign the PMM to the right level of feature at the right time so they can get notified about the feature. Further they can add content to the feature as the feature gets closer to shipping.
