In automation rules, evaluate the fields on the triggering object (feature, idea etc.) to set conditional actions

When creating automation rules, we need to know what field value is on the idea that is being created before doing an assign-to action. Right now I can only define an assignment to on ANY idea, which I can already do with default assignees. Give that conditional logic support to assign to A when the idea categorized as UX and assign to B when an idea is categorized as Solutions, would really be powerful and improve our ability to adopt this automation.
Very cool starting point though.

    Thank you for the feedback!

You can use the 'is updated' trigger for exactly this. Rules with an 'is updated' trigger do run the first time that an idea's category is changed - when the idea is initially created.

We will look at improving the text on the page to make this more intuitive. Please let us know if that works for you, or if you have any other feedback!
