Hide Status Dropdown Since Workflow Validations Will Not Be Delivered

Workflow validations are essential to our integration with JIRA. There are restrictions in one system but not in another & it causes syncing issues & therefore, out of date content.

This Idea  to add Validations is currently set to Unlikely to Implement with the reason that "Transition Buttons" are to be used. However, there are no mechanisms in place driving user behavior only to Transition Buttons continuing the issues described above.

If this is your suggested answer - we need a technical change to support Transition Button usage behavior - like the ability to hide the Status drop-down field so only Transition Buttons can be used. This is functionally possible in JIRA.

That said - I'd still prefer Workflow Validations to match from one system to the next vs this hack.
