I'd like to prevent employees from voting on public portal ideas because it can misrepresent 'popularity' in the context of the customer.
When you have a public portal with only a few users voting and employees heavily voting, it skews the results in eyes of the customer. I need to go into an Aha list to filter out the employees to understand 'popular' as determined only by customer votes.
Thank you for your idea. One work around for this would be to create two separate portals with a unique product in each: customer ideas and employee ideas. You could then promote ideas to your roadmap on your primary product as they are prioritized.
At this time, we do not have plans to add voting restrictions in the ideas portal. We hope you can understand and find the option above to be a workable solution.
I want to be able to give employees the ability to SEE the comments and votes of the customers but NOT allow employees to vote themselves. This will provide visibility to our customers and allow them to respond to customer but not skew any voting.
