We have features that are done in incremental and iterative way over several releases.
When
there is a link between two features that are part of two different releases it
should be visualized. In addition, there should be an notification, or alert, if a feature in the preceding release is
dependent on a feature in a later release. In this case the first release is
not possible as it’s dependent on a feature that is in a later release. This is
a possible mistake than can happen when we are dealing with hundreds of
features.
The functionality to visualize feature dependencies within and across releases has been added as of the last release: https://www.aha.io/support/roadmaps/strategic-roadmaps/releases-and-schedules/release-dependencies
I agree. Seeing relationships (even unrelated to releases) between features, would be extremely helpful. Some sort of map of the features and other related features (including those that stand-alone).
