This will allow a customer support or sales rep to see all ideas that have been submitted by a customer to provide the comprehensive view of their activity. This data will allow us to see problem areas and trends for what's important to this customer and how we can address their needs.

Hi, I was told that this will only show ideas that have been linked to a Salesforce record (account, opportunity, case). We've set up an additional customer-facing portal where users can submit ideas that aren't linked to any of those, so we'd like to consolidate that information on their Salesforce account page.
So the difference is not only seeing ideas submitted in Salesforce by Sales and Support, but from customers themselves.
