Allow filtering ideas based on Salesforce values

I frequently want to sort incoming ideas based on the value or account owner that was recorded in Salesforce. The Salesforce integration lets me make an idea list and display those pieces of data in their own columns, but there is not a way to filter based on the contents of those columns.

You can now filter on the Salesforce accounts in your ideas. The opportunity value can also be included in the report and used for sorting and calculated columns.

Within Aha!, all votes from Salesforce are treated as 'proxy votes'. We call the Salesforce accounts 'organizations' and the opportunity value is the 'vote value'.

    • You can learn more about building the reports here.

    • You can also open an idea in Aha! and click the blue link 'View in list report' at the top right of the proxy voting table. Then customize the filters from there.

Please let us know how that works for you.
