The ability to integrate to SFDC to import ideas for a feature

    It's easy enough to embed the Ideas portal in a Salesforce VisualForce page, either using the Javascript that Aha! provides, or just sticking it in an iFrame.  What we really need is an authentication module, such that when a user accesses the Ideas portal from Salesforce (Customer Portal or Community, specifically), we can authenticate against the Salesforce user, and either automatically create a user in Aha!, or login (depending on whether the user already exists in Aha!, of course).  I've tried to figure out a way to do this with JWT, but it seems like it would require a custom application on the SFDC side.

    It would be great to see this happen. We would also like to allow our sales team to create/link ideas to their opportunities so that we can evaluate pipeline associated with those ideas.

    Hugely useful. This will be the difference between using this in a small team and adopting it across the whole org.

    Just to chime in and perhaps refresh this idea, I would also like to (actually NEED) to integrate with SFDC.  I tried working with Zapier, but it can only trigger on "new" objects, I need to be able to trigger on changes.

    Lets us track who we can discuss the feature with more in-depth as we go from Idea to MVP.

    This would be great. My initial thought was to integrate the Ideas with Chatter. We are rolling out SF Chatter to all employees in order to share product information, updates, competitive info, etc. so if Ideas could become topics in Chatter we would likely get more input and feedback as people wouldn't have to access a separate system to participate.

    Building on this idea: we would primarily want to pull customer/account information from SFDC for use inside AHA (and add n customers/accounts to a feature), and periodically (!) push status updates to accounts or opportunities inside SFDC.
