Single User list for both Idea Portal and "Full" Aha
It's very confusing to have two separate entities for a single person, 1 in the Ideas portal and the other in the the Full aha. If we're just using Aha internally, why can't the accounts apply to both sides of the interface?
Adding to the thoughts below, a person at our company was submitting ideas through the portal and later on received an Aha login. Those 12 ideas he created before having an Aha login will always show as Portal User X instead of updating to Aha User X. Retroactively updating these ideas to Aha user X due to having the same email address is a way that this could be more seamless
Avigail can you elaborate on where it is not seamless? We recently made some small changes to reduce confusion when logging into idea portals versus Aha!, but if there are still places it could be better I would like to consider them for improvement too.
This is already possible. If you log in to the portal using the email address from your Aha! account then you will only have your Aha! identity.
In addition, if you are using the ideas.aha.io URL for your idea portal (rather than a custom CNAME) then if you are logged into Aha! you will be automatically logged into the idea portal when you visit it - no need for a separate login.
It is possible to create an identity in the idea portal which uses the same email address as your Aha! account (e.g. if importing portal users from a file, or using JWT SSO) - but that identity won't be used if you login using your Aha! email address.

I know this idea already exists, but it's not a seamless experience.
