Ability to make ideas visible only to the user who submitted them Merged

We need a way to make ideas submitted to a particular portal only visible to the user that submitted them. We have separate defect and enhancement portals, and while we want users to vote and comment on the enhancement ideas, we do not want the defects to be visible to other users.

    There are a couple workarounds which some customers are using which may help.

    You can adjust the default visibility setting for ideas to be private. As new ideas come in, you can then change the visibility depending on whether it's an enhancement or defect. This option can be found in Settings -> Account - Configure idea portals.

    You can also set yourself as a watcher on the idea portal so that you get immediate email notifications whenever new ideas are submitted.

    While we don't have the exact functionality you are looking for, we hope that this can at least help.
