We have Zendesk integrated with our Idea Portal. By default, the ideas are not visible in the portal when shared from Zendesk. This requires folks to follow through, and make them visible.
Could this be something that is configurable in the Zendesk integration?
This can be configured by going to Settings -> Account -> Configure idea portals.
Select your idea portal and scroll to the bottom of your idea portal settings page to the "Default Idea Visibility" option to customize the setting.
We also want to be able to change the visibility default setting for ideas raised through AHA.
We can edit the default settings in our own company portal but some of our users raise ideas directly in AHA which no-one can see if they don't remember to change the visibility.
This is rather irritating.
Our teams are still unable to set Default Idea Visibility for all ideas - not just those that are submitted via the Portal. Please add functionality to allow this setting to apply to ideas submitted via the Aha Platform and Salesforce.
Current workaround is to enter Aha every morning, select all ideas, then bulk edit Portal Visibility Status, which seems like something that could be avoided through some small changes on Aha's end.
Thank you!
Awesome. Thank you!
Thank you. How do we see it to configure it?
This is very important to us. The fact that internal employees, who all have Aha! accounts, can not submit ideas that are immediately visible to customers is a real blocker for us. Our Customer Support, Customer Success, and Sales Engineers all enter Ideas on behalf of customers. They need to immediately share those URLs with customers so that they may vote on them, and know that the Idea has been captured.
Exciting!
Thanks guys!
