We want to follow a workflow of defining goals, then the objectives to achieve them and then the features required to achieve the objectives. We don't want to have to again define a relationship to a goal for each feature (of course), that flexibility to add in another can be useful.
Whilst you can get reporting to provide a view of how many features are being delivered by release by goal, the inbuilt view assumes that you have an explicit relationship defined. I fine this very odd. Perhaps additive filter saying show inherited and specified goals.
Thank you for the request. We have an upcoming feature which will allow you to better report on the relationships that you have described. This will allow you to better understand and view this information across your features, releases, initiatives and goals.
While we do not have plans to show this information on the specific Releases page mentioned, the reporting capabilities will help to provide this information. As such, we will mark this idea as unlikely to implement, but please stay tuned for future reporting updates. In the meantime, we would suggest using the existing reporting functions as described in your note.
