Initiative-centric view in the Release Timeline

It's currently difficult to visualize how features are staged into releases over time as grouped by initiative. For example, currently initiatives as tagged onto features with a tiny icon in the release timeline view, which makes it hard to illustrate what's happening in initiative X over the next several releases?"

It would be valuable to have a view in the Release Timeline that was "initiative-centric". It could filter based on initiatives, and display features grouped by initiative using color or a shape instead of the icon.

This would be useful for visualizing goals as well.

This can be achieved through Pivot Table reports and Report Timelines.

I think what would also help this is being able to filter Releases by initiatives, not just Features.

This is what I was able to build in a custom pivot. It's pretty close to what I need, except that Company and Product Line initiatives are treated the same in the left hand column when I really want to see the hierarchy of initiatives Company-->Product Line-->Product
