Notification to a specific user or group on idea or feature status change

Would like the ability within a product to automatically send a notification to a specific group or individual when a status of an idea changes to a specific status.

    Thank you for your idea. There are a couple options currently for handling this.

    1. Aha! users can be added as watchers to records. This will then send notifications based on updates such as status changes.

    2. Ideas portal users can subscribe to an idea. Subscribers will receive notifications automatically when the idea status changes. Voting on an idea will also automatically subscribe a user to the idea. This article explains these notifications in more detail.
