Admin permissions to change statuses in a fixed workflow

What is the challenge?

In a fixed workflow, objects cannot move backwards in status. This is mostly fine, except when a user accidentally clicks the transition button or if the approval group mistakenly approves/rejects an approval.

The only way to reverse the status change is for us, the customization admins of our Aha workspaces, to temporarily change the workflow from fixed to flexible, make the corrections, then change the workflow back to fixed. However, in order to change the workflow from fixed to flexible, we have to delete the approvals and add them back after making the corrections.

What is the impact?

Implementing a solution to this would help accurately communicate the status of our work and reduce the manual labor required of the admin team.
