Disable specific pages if not in main menu

We’ve got users landing on pages that have been disabled on their main menu when they navigate between workspaces. This causes some issues when rolling out Aha widely as an ‘intuitive’ self serviceable tool. An example is:

  1. Going to a workspace defaults to ‘Activity due date calendar’ page, which is not a menu item and shouldn’t be accessible.

  2. This leads to an issue where people can create milestones from this page, which is an unintended process.

  3. As you can imagine this has some flow-on implications such as people being unable to navigate back to this page (because it’s not part of the menu) and/or teaching others to use this method but others cannot find this page either.

My recommendation is to allow disabling of specific pages entirely in the settings, it will make Aha much more intuitive and reduce tech support load.
