Like you can do with To-dos, you can assign automation items based on user fields, i.e. assigned to and custom user fields like BA, UX, Developer, etc. We would like to be able to do the same with automation emails so that these can be targeted to appropriate and specific individuals and not have to spam lots of non-impacted team members.
Use case, workflow status changes to ready for requirements and the BA assigned in the custom field identifying the BA can be notified, likewise ready for development and the identified developer can be notified, etc.
We use our ideas portal to take license, support, and feedback requests from our sales team for tools that they need and use daily. When we complete requests for license assignments, we have to manually email each user set up and login instructions. Having triggers to auto send the set up instructions for a tool or multiple tools to users based on selections in the form would make our manual processes much more efficient
Yes, please! This would be very helpful. I have the need to send an email to various people when the Feature Status is changed to a specific value. This includes a dynamic list of people (from a custom field) + a static list of people + all Watchers.
