Product overview and description fields visible for all products - report

If I were able to create a single overview of all products/product lines with their names and descriptions it would be a powerful slide in a notebook to highlight what products we're talking about when presenting a slide-set to a management team.

I would like to be able to create a report overview of products and product lines where I can filter on which products are visible. This product tree might be hard to visualise effectively since each product overview and product description may contain quite a bit of text, but I'll leave that challenge to you :)

    Thank you for your idea. There are a couple ways you could accomplish this currently. One would be to add the existing Product -> Overview page to a notebook. If you wish to add a view that includes multiple products and their descriptions, you could create a pivot table with product name and description and add a filter to select which products to include.

    Given the options above and current priorities, we are unlikely to add a new view for this use case. We hope you can understand.

    Thanks for the feedback! Will try to play around with this, but it would make it so much more interesting to use in board-presentations or mgmt. team presentations to have a nice sexy overview of the portfolio of products with how they interact, what they do and possibly how they're performing. Right now I am more likely to draw this up in ppt format instead of using built in Aha! features.
