Need a Description field for Reports

When a user builds a Report, quite often they use various filters and subsets of data from their portfolio of Product Lines/Products. 

Issues

  • The consumer of the Report doesn't immediately know that the data they are looking at has been filtered or how
  • The Report writer may have several dozen Reports that they are responsible for, and they need a place to take notes as to who requested the Report, Why it was built, Who it was built for, etc.

 

Solution - Please add a Description field to the Report screen so that the builder of the Report can make editorial notes, advise the consumer of the Report as to what they are looking at, why the Report was created, How it is to be used, etc.  This optional field, once created should be visible when looking at the Report, including when the given Report is included into a Notebook.

    This says shipped, but I'm not clear where this functionality exists?
