It would be great if there would a possiblity to hide ideas with a specific state from recent, trending and popular list.
For example:
I marked an idea as "Will not implement". For me it does not make any sense to keep this idea with this status in this lists no matter how many votes and comments this idea will receive in the future.
These ideas should only be shown if I choose the category "Will not implement".
Thank you for your idea. At this time these lists are not filtered based on status so that customers can continue to provide feedback if the ideas are still relevant. This can be controlled manually however, by changing the idea visibility so that the idea is no longer shown in the portal.
At this time given the background and options above, we are unlikely to make changes here. We hope you can understand.
Hi,
and excatly that is the problem
If I do not want to have an idea further in the list "trending" so that it gets less attention I have none.
If i use the idea visibilty the idea is gone in the portal but the problem is that a another user could make a new idea with the same object.
It is good that a user can see ideas that would not be implemented. If the customer creates an new idea and he sees a similiar idea in the box "consider voting on existing idea I think he would stop creating the new idea. If I use your solution these ideas would not be shown in this box and he will create the new idea and the review process will start from beginning.
A idea that would not be implemented should not have any impact on a recnet, trending or popular list.
And what should be the problem to add a second option for hiding?
Thanks
