User administration

When adding users, the ability to select all/none products/product lines and de-select (or select) one at a time. Even with the ability for users to inherit roles, the user's role isn't auto-populated at the product level below the product line (visually) and there's no way to deselect certain products

We have updated the permissions table to make it show inherited permissions. Also you can now double click the permission level heading to set all permissions to that level (I.e. Double click on "Reviewer" heading to give that user, reviewer permissions for all products).

Thanks Chris - both of those bits of info were helpful.

We made a tweak that makes this slightly easier (but probably not as easy as it could ideally be). If you go to the Product page in the UI and add users there you can add multiple existing users at the same time to a product.

The other way to manage many users and products at once is to apply user permissions at the product line level. If a user is granted permission for a product line then they will have that permission for all products in the product line, including products added in the future.

Eric's comment is what I need.  We have 15 product and 50+ users.  When/if a new product is created -which it will we acquire and create new products often - I have to go then to all the users and add to their security.

Need the ability to add users to products and by security group.

    Thanks - Jeremy

Add to this, the ability to easily add users to new products, not just new users to existing products.
