Search by idea number when merging ideas
When merging ideas, you can't type the idea number in the search box to find a idea you want to merge with. Typing the idea number would be nice because when we search by keyword a lot of results come up and it is hard to find the idea.

The status of this idea was out of date. This is currently possible. When searching for an idea to merge, typing in the full reference number, like APP-I-123, will provide the idea in the search results.

Agreed, this is not "Already exists" because the specific request is that I don't want to type out the full reference ID, I just want to type the number and the search find it so I can merge it. It's one of those speed/efficiency things. Other searches behave like this in the platform, just not the merge ideas one.
I would agree, you need the ability to search on only the number value of the idea not have to enter the prefix.
