We would like to directly engage with individuals within particular teams to seek feedback on ideas. We would like to tag the individuals 'Idea Portal' account to seek direct feedback. A strength of Aha is the ability to consolidate these conversations, seeking their feedback in email makes this utility redundant.
I have found several other ideas requesting the same feature (voted on several times in 2016) which have all received the same feedback that there isn't enough support.

As an admin or as an idea submitter, I want to tag other idea portal users who are not subscribed to the idea. Use case: User A submits and idea, I need to comment and notify user B in the idea portal users so they can clarify something.

Can mimic the behavior of Jira and Pivotal Tracker, both of which have successfully brought conversations out of email in this way.
I fully support an initiative that reduces dependence on personal email.

We are also seeking this feature to avoid unnecessary email conversations. The point of Aha Idea portal for us is to have our covnersations in one space.
