Ability to have portal users add tag options to the tag field in Ideas portals
Right now, "tags" fields act as "pre-defined tags" fields in the ideas portals. There is no ability for portal users to add new options - only those in Aha. This is unhelpful when having customers or internal folks who do not have access to the workspace enter ideas.

Yes, this would be really needed as we could dynamically democratise the update to taxonomies (e.g. future prospects, business fields, feature categories) by portal user vote.
100% in agreement. Either make the field editable for portal users or eliminate it as a possible field type.
+1 for this. To add to this, we would need a convenient way to moderate the tags created by users too - e.g. removing inappropriate, fixing typos, merging similar tags/synonyms.
