I need more robust reporting on dependent objects

Now that I can link an item to almost any other item (except goals and I don't know why that is) I want to report all the juicy details of these linked items in my reports. I am specifically looking to report the release to which a linked feature has been added. However, I can see quickly how more fields would be useful.

Global dependency report

I'm unsure why there isn't a global dependency view report. Everything is always in context to the object which doesn't help when really trying to see the whole picture. I tried to use the diagram report which is good but still not exactly a fit b...

There is currently a dependency graph but this is only viewable in the context of one item. The need is to easily see all dependencies and filter them. The report or table is not enough to show a complex set of dependencies such as multiple goals ...
