Collapsible Custom Note Fields

We are using Custom Note fields in a few places, and these tend to get filled up with a lot of text. Is there some way to set these note fields up so that we can show just the first line, or a subject, and then click to collapse/expand? Maybe create a new custom field type?

    Thank you for the idea. Given the low volume of support for this idea, we do not have plans to make updates in this area at this time.

    I'm attaching a couple of mockups showing a Competitor with lots of detail as it appears now, and how I would like to see it with collapsible fields.

    Can you give me a bit more information about how you are using the note fields where they are a problem. A screenshot with dummy info would be very helpful to understand the use-case a bit better.
