Today on the Initiatives page, when you click on an Initiative to see its Features, the Features are listed alphabetically. It would be better if they were shown in Feature Rank order to easily confirm the prioritization of Features for an Initiative. Even better, give me the ability to drag Features into the proper Rank order on the Initiative page. This makes top-down strategy planning MUCH easier and more efficient.
As noted, the feature list on the Initiatives page is shown in alphabetical order. Because the features may span multiple releases, it's difficult to show features in a true rank order (as rank may be the same across releases).
That said, our reporting engine provides the ability to create a wide set of reports - including one with the information that you are requesting. Whether you are using feature rank or Aha! score to prioritize, both can be reported on to aid in planning purposes.
Because of the existing functionality and noted workarounds, we will mark this idea as unlikely to implement, but hope that this can help. We hope you can understand.
i'll second the idea that we should be able to set the feature order in an initiative and/or drag up / down to set the rank within the initiative. It's great to have that for reporting, but as a user it would be much nicer to see the initiatve page with the related list of features in the prioritized order
The workaround suggested is for reporting. However the need is during the roadmapping stage. It helps to visualize how the features rank against each other within the initiative. I really hope you reconsider this decision.
Thanks for your response. What is the "feature rank"? Does that provide a drag and drop view? Can you please show me how I can see this report? It isn't a workaround for what I need, but could help a bit.
