Map Zendesk attributes to Aha Idea

Among other attributes tracked in Zendesk, client name is an important factor in understanding the impact of, and reporting on our response to enhancement requests. Without the ability to map these attributes from Zendesk, we will have to manually enter the information after the fact, or include as part of the description when the support engineer submits and Idea through the Zendesk integration. This is very prone to errors, and doesn't pick up additional customers that may also be assocated to the ticket from within Zendesk. Our JIRA integration does support this functionality, so would be very useful to set up the Aha integration in the same fashion.

    It would be great to have the Organization pulled from ZD when linking an idea to Aha!

    We added Organization as a custom tag field to Idea, Feature and Master Feature.  The operator/key is the same allowing the Organization to pass from idea to feature when promoted.  Because we often find that ideas are subsets of an existing Master Feature we often promote ideas directly to a Master Feature.  The custom tag field fails to pass through to Master Feature when the ideas are promoted so we lose visibility on the list of customers requesting this.  Making Organization map from Zendesk to Aha and ensuring that they continue to show when promoting ideas to stories, ideas to master features, stories to master features etc.

    Hi Corrin, the custom fields should pass through to Master features as well when promoted if you have the corresponding custom field setup properly on the Master feature level.
