We modified our product hieararchy to support single sign on (SSO) for Aha. (The reason we had to change the product hierarchy for SSO was that the company was acquired after we started using Aha.)
A knock-on effect of changing product hierarchy was that all of our hierarchy reports broke (not populated with any data). Aha support was unable to help us reconstitute the hierarchy reports. Our options are to revert our hierarchy or recreate all of the hierarchy reports.
While I acknowledge that changing product hierarchy may be an uncommon activity, it would really help us if there was a way to bulk update all the hierarchy reports after the hierarchy was changed or make the hierarchy reports resilient in the face of product hierarchy changes.
Needs to include categories
This problem could arise for a variety of other (re)organizational reasons:
If one or more products were moved into a new product line as part of a reorganization.
If one or more products or product lines were moved into a new market.
