Hierarchy Changes

We need the ability to link Features from multiple workspaces to Releases and Master Features that are not part of the same workspace. We can do this in some cases but it results in the Feature not showing in the reports for that workspace.

Today we have an unmanageable number of releases because of how many workspaces are involved in an Initiative. -- This is a huge problem for our organization. --

Example:

• Product Line Red, Product Line Blue, Product Line Green, and Product Line Purple are all working on the same Initiative

• The Initiative has 4 Releases and each Product Line is involved in each release

• In Aha! today we have to create 16 releases to handle this (one release for each product group AND each release in the Initiative).

• Implications:

  • This means we cannot get a burndown of a release that contains the work across all teams

  • It also makes administration of each Initiative very tedious and easy to make a mistake
