"Roll down" record view in reports - example, roll-down initiative
In a pivot report, I want to set the primary record as a higher level initiative in order to calaculate progress % complete at a strategic level (product line), yet pull in some artifacts like initiatives (product) and initiative % complete (product) in showing what makes up the higher level record calculation.
What would be even better is to not have to set a primary record type, but rather have access to any facet of the data model that are relational.
100% agree. There are many examples, particularly with strategic view and pivot charts where I want to roll down from the initiative or the goal. Lets say that I have a rolled up 2 goals to a parent goal, but I want to show the parent goals RAG status, that is currently not achievable, which is very frustrating.
