Allow roll-up initiatives & roll-up releases driven reports

Currently, reports can only be created by initiative and roll-up initiative is just an attribute of initiative. But given the extensive use of roll-up initiative at the line level, it will be very useful to have a roll-up initiative driven report where initiative is one of the child entities that can be selected. We have many lines and products under them, so we use roll-ups and want to see reports that truly represent this hierarchy. The same concept applies to roll-up releases. Currently we cannot even filter by roll-up releases.

The status of this idea was out of date. This is now possible.

When adding fields to your report by clicking Add records related to initiative and then selecting the Roll-up initiative. You can then add any fields related to the roll-up initiative. This can be done at multiple levels of roll-up.

My apologies. I missed the reference to roll-up release filters. Here is a specific idea requesting that filter which would be great to get your vote on: https://big.ideas.aha.io/ideas/A-I-9907

If I understand the roll-up initiative aspect of your request correctly the desire is to be able to build a report that shows hierarchy such as:

    • Company level initiative

      • Business unit initiative

        • Product initiative

          • Release A

          • Release B

          • Etc.

This is now possible using the roll-up initiative reporting tables. For example:

These fields are also available to use as filters. It would be great to know if this solves your need for initiatives. And also what sort of reporting you are trying to accomplish for roll-up releases. Thanks!

That is a surprisingly off topic admin response. The question is clearly about filters while the response is about adding fields. Also, the idea is about initiatives and releases while the comment is only about initiatives - yet, the idea is just marked as shipped.
