Record Fields should create Relationships
Expected behavior when adding a Record field to a layout is that when records are selected, a relationship link is created.
Use Case: We need to drive people to link specific records and leveraged Record Fields; i.e. one or more release, one or more feature, one or more Risk ticket. It's way too cumbersome to ask PMs to link those separate things individually via the Menu >Relationship Function when there are these easy-to-use record fields available.

100% Agree. Having a one-way "reference" works for some use cases, but not all.
One solution would be to make each field configurable to either reference (current behavior) or link (what we want)
