Need multiple approvers to have ability for ANY approver to approve (rather than all)

Hello. I'd like to be able to put more than one approver on an approval task and have either approval mark that to-do as complete. Right now it is structured as an AND function rather than an OR. (ie. Assignee 1 AND Assignee 2 must approve. I want for Assignee 1 OR Assignee 2 to approve depending on availability.)

I do not want to create a workflow approval group for this as this second person is not always looped in - they are only looped in if the first person is swamped or OOO. This happens quite often in multiple groups.

Love this feature but it is quite restrictive and could use some enhancements.

    Hi Kelly. Yes, both to-dos and approvals. I do not want to replace assignees as I want for one person to get notified if the other person approves. The notification upon assignment should show the fact that there are multiple assignees so each person is aware as well. Thanks!

    Thanks for this idea! Would you like this flexibility for regular to-dos as well as approvals?

    Also, as it is today, the assignee on an approval can be removed and someone else assigned if needed. Does that help in your situation?

Release Workflow Approval groups

Approvals for Workflows only work at individual level - it would be great if you could defined teams (say Marketing that had three or four people in in) and approval can be given by anybody in that group.
