Our workflow is made up of a number of custom statuses. We consider a feature complete when it is Ready To Ship. If the progress bar can calculate the progress complete of a feature based on a status other than Requirement complete, it saves us a lot of time of manually updating this field. Especially when a feature has a large number of requirements
Different audiences or stakeholders within my org wish to see progress for a feature based on when a feature is "Dev Done" or "Resolved and awaiting deployment" as an example. The ability to set the trigger based on a different state other than "Closed" would end the need to go update tens (if not hundreds) of work items manually prior to a "Status Update" meeting.
I'm constantly having to update the percentage bar manually based on workflow status. This is a pain point on a daily basis. Would love to have this automated!
I agree, this is really important for our team.
Sometimes our features do not have any requirements against them and because the only option is to have it as 'Calculate from requirements completed' it marks the feature as 0% complete even when it marks as done!
It is a real pain and is causing big problems with our roadmapping % complete.
I agree. My team has numerous different statuses in the requirements section and would love it to calculate based on a status.
I 100% agree with this and would like to have this. I'm currently having to battle 200 plus updates a day. It's extremely painful.
Or it should be able to calculate based on where you are in the workflow.
