Some substance around idea categories

I have posted multiple times about the great feature of Ideas in Aha, in particular what you can do with them internally outside the external-facing portal (great feature in and of itself, too!).  

I have been using idea categories a bit, but I'm finding I could use a good deal more substance if they had some metadata, or these categories were actually linked to other category stuff within Aha like custom fields or tags.  This would provide the very useful ability to look at a Custom Field you are using for, say, Platform components as suggested here:  https://support.aha.io/hc/en-us/articles/217140186-Best-practices-for-managing-product-components and see what ideas are in play alongside active feature builds.
