Automations currently make it possible to pass values from one record to another, such as users and dates. We need the ability to copy simple text fields (not note fields) across records. |
What is the impact? |
We need to capture key information on parent records that is available to all child records. Things like customer names, launch notes, etc. that should be visible on all child records. |

Support "same as" automations for custom text fields |
Same here, I want to populate custom text field from the feature on the related idea to provide more info in the portal
This would be super useful for items that need to be moved back upstream to ideas from features.
Would love to be able to automate a custom text field being copied such that the logic is:
When initiative is created/updated and it's [custom_field_1] changes to anything, then update the related record features and change its [custom_field_2] to same value
Needed for when data needs to be present at both levels.
