Currently, there is no way to bulk edit users for portal users. As an administrator, I have to perform everyday actions such as Unsubscribe, disable, delete, edit to these users one at a time.
It is possible to bulk edit portal users using CSV exports and imports.
Export portal users from within Portal settings > Users.
Edit the CSV file as needed.
Import the updated file. Go to Settings > Workspace > Import from CSV. Choose "Idea contacts" and the desired portal. Make sure to map the column for ID and it will update the existing user.
There is also now an option in the actions menu to unsubscribe all portal users.
This is becoming an increasingly important need. As a global organization we are subject to various privacy and data sovereignty regulations, and having to fulfill requests at the individual contact level - one-by-one - is an inefficient dain on resources
@Aha Support / Admin - while the information about being able to handle some of this data in bulk via CSV - it does not resolve the root of the issue of being unable to bulk edit via the interface similar to how you can bulk edit users within roadmaps. This is a exporting and importing is a lengthy process that can potentially be more prone to errors as opposed to being able to perform the action directly in the interface and see results in real time.
This would have helped my team when we needed to remove over 300 customers who were users of our portal. Ultimately, the Aha engineering team helped us out by removing them on the backend, but this would have been avoided with this feature.
