Consistent release sorting in filters

Overview

Sorting of releases on the features board takes into account multiple factors so works well in cases where some data is identical. Sorting of releases in filter lists differs and is not consistent even within the filtering dropdowns.

Carefully organized releases with common release dates look like they are listed randomly within filters.

Use cases/best practices

Product teams who split releases by sprint or team or other dimension may have common release dates across a group of releases. A common release date and roll-up release allows teams to group multiple sprints into a single GTM while still retaining separate start/stop dates on the release.

Use the same sorting rules employed on the features board in other places such as the filters.
