For those of us managing portals that are private (and need to remain so), the ability to allow individuals with email accounts in specified domains to self-register as external users would be a godsend. SSO options won't work for us and our portal, and so I'm in a position where I'm having to manually manage a user list of 15k+ users. This capability would reduce 95% of my user management workload.
We are setting up two ideas portals, one for internal ideas, and another for customer ideas. Both will be set to private based on executive guidance and this would be SUPER helpful in managing the visibility and account creation.
I can see that this idea was set to 'future consideration' 4 months ago. Do you have any new considerations about going further with this idea? For us the idea portal will become so much ore valuable and also mean that we will upgrade to advanced..
