Add Features of a previous Release to another Release

We're currently release in batches. We're having monthly releases that are delivered to our customers through our Marketplace. Every 3-6 Months we're having a cumulated release where all the features since the last cumulated release are included - so every feature of the monthly release too. I'd like visualize that in the releases, especially because the cumulated release is a Master Release of the Product Line and the monthly releases are just in product individual releases.

I'd like to put already released features into another upcoming release. (https://db.tt/pWf1lgod

Hi -- if you've already gone to market with these features with a monthly release, it sounds like you have a second opportunity to go to market again from a different perspective. I think in your case you have one of two options:

    1. Create a custom field with two select options: "Cumulated release" and "Announced" or something like that. You can then mark each feature that should ultimately be announced again as "Cumulated release". Then, when you've announced it, mark it as "Announced". You can now filter on the Features List view for those custom field values to determine what needs to be added. We do this when we publish release notes and it works really well.

    2. Copy each feature and add it to a release for your 3-6 month view. This is more overhead, but will allow you to create a roadmap more easily.

We do the same for SaaS vs On-Premise release, where SaaS updates frequently but on-premise is semi-annual.  It would be great to report/visualize the cumulative releases.
